Dried persimmons from Yamagata Prefecture. Contains 12 pieces. The variety is Hiratane nashi (seedless persimmon). Each one is peeled by hand, sterilized with hot water, and naturally dried for about a month under the eaves. The white substance is not mold. It is the sugar from the persimmon that has come to the surface and crystallized as white powder (shiroko). There may be variations in size and firmness.
