I purchased this new in the winter of 2021 and used it for about six months during that season. The purchase price was just under 8,000 yen. ◯ The top lid opens wide, making it easy to fill with water. ◯ There are no small parts inside, making it easy to clean. ◯ The steam is not hot, so it's safe for small children and pets. ◯ It's quiet, so it can be used in the bedroom without any problems. (We used it in the bedroom with a newborn.) ◯ Essential oils can be used. (We haven't used them.) The only included accessory is the AC adapter. Please consider this item with the understanding that it is a used product.
