This round bag is sized to fit a long wallet almost perfectly. The darts create fullness instead of a gusset, giving it a cute, rounded mini-bag shape. The material is Liberty's Tana Lawn fabric. The design features olives and nuts as motifs, originally printed on cotton poplin in 1981. It was later resized to accommodate various items in Japan. The stylized motifs overlapping in the silhouette create depth, resulting in a design that appears at first glance to be pop, but has an excellent composition. Royal blue was chosen for the handles and facings, and unbleached, flecked, domestically-produced canvas fabric for the lining. The handle width is 1.5cm, giving a delicate impression, but it is reinforced with a supple core and folded four times for durability. A small pocket, sized to hold cards, and a magnetic hook have been added to the lining to prevent the contents from being easily seen. The tag is made of nubuck leather with an original stamp sewn on with a sewing machine.
