This is a hydration system backpack. I think it's for mountain biking or trail running. I remember buying it in the US about 10 years ago. A hydration reservoir can be placed in the back. The main compartment can hold the gear needed for a day of hiking. There are several small pockets on the outside. The compact size might also make it convenient for commuting.
