I bought this new and used it for a short while. After that, I stored it for a long time, and as you can see in the third image, there is a small crease in the middle. The crease isn't particularly noticeable when the mousepad is laid flat, and it doesn't affect its usability, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this.
