This is a cover (aburaginu) for the koto. It is a remake from a nearly unused tsumugi kimono. The fabric feels sturdy and substantial, being tsumugi. The lining is new, white, and has a smooth feel. The color is a beautiful purple. Because it's made from kimono fabric, it's thinner than commercially available ones. This is handmade by my mother, who worked as a dressmaker. Thank you very much!
