This is beeswax wax (approximately 12g) for kendama. Applying it to the joint between the ken (handle) and the sara-do (cup section) will: ① Prevent the ken from coming loose. ② Prevent the sara-do from falling off. ③ Increase grip on wooden kendamas, making it effective for balance and stall tricks. I use it for purposes ① and ②. There's also KENHOL's beeswax wax for kendama, but this product is just as effective, and at 20g for 770 yen (excluding shipping), I think this is a better deal. I also have KENHOL's wax, but even after using kendama for several years, I've only used about 3g of beeswax wax. About 0.3g is sufficient for one use. KENHOL's product description states, "Applying it to wooden kendamas will give the wood grain a luster, making it ideal for maintenance. Especially mahogany will look more luxurious," but I think the main benefit is for players to adjust their kendamas. ※ The melting point of the wax is around 60 degrees Celsius. Please avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures. ※ This product is not for food or cosmetics. It's a special wax to increase the grip of kendama.
