(Rosin is not included.) My son outgrew it last year, and he is not using it now, but it produced a beautiful sound without any problems until then. Regarding the bow, the base is a bit darkened, so those who are concerned may want to have it rehaired. When packing, we will use cushioning materials to ensure that the instrument is not damaged during shipping.
