This was a gift, and I've only used it once indoors, so it's in very clean condition. The front is made of a towel-like material, and it feels like it has a water-repellent finish. I don't see any pilling or stains, but this is a personal inspection, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. m(_ _)m
