I remember being surprised when I bought it online and it was described as hand-knitted. I think hand-knitted sweaters are quite rare, especially with mass production being the norm in factories. It has the comfortable feel and softness unique to hand-knitted items. There is some slight pilling, but it's in near-new condition. I think it has a handcrafted feel that will appeal to vintage clothing lovers. I have other similar Aran knit sweaters, so I've only worn this one a couple of times. I'd like someone who will appreciate it to wear it, so I'm putting it up for sale (*^^*) It's cute worn on its own, but it also looks great layered with a striped shirt or a thin turtleneck.
