The only differences from the current model are the color and compatible models. The current model is only available in black and is compatible with the 16mm F2.8 (SEL16F28) and 20mm F2.8 (SEL20F28) lenses. In contrast, this model is only available in silver and is only compatible with the 16mm F2.8 (SEL16F28) lens. The focal length after attachment is 12mm (equivalent to 18mm) from the original 16mm.
