This small plate is made by skilled artisans who create flower-patterned millefiori (called murrine) from glass, arrange them in a mold, shape them through two firings, and then polish each one carefully for a long time. The workshop is particular about making all the murrine required for the works by hand. Like the glass artist Dorian, this workshop is characterized by the use of thin murrine. They are about half the size of those from Ercole Moretti. This means the number of murrine is doubled, and the labor is doubled, resulting in a more delicate and charming plate. They are committed to carefully finishing their works, spending three hours polishing a single plate. The beautiful matte finish has a gentle, pleasant feel and a sense of luxury.
