This is a British Army PCS Thermal Jacket. It's a military jacket from the British Army's cold weather layering system. The outer fabric is water-repellent micro-ripstop nylon, and the insulation is a lightweight, heat-retaining polyester fiber material. The collar lining uses microfleece, and a hood is stored in the collar. As a feature designed for use in blizzard conditions, the hood's visor has a wire that can be adjusted to hold its shape. The front has a double zipper, and the collar and hem have drawcords to prevent heat from escaping. Since before the development of this PCS series, all current British Army equipment has been manufactured in China. Therefore, there is no such thing as a British-made PCS series. As it is currently used by the British Army, there is no concept of deadstock, and there are no changes in specifications or differences in fabric due to the year. This PCS series is available in only one color, which appears coyote under fluorescent light and olive in sunlight.
