The new album "Soul Quest" by BudaMunk & Joe Styles is released, approximately one year after their previous work "From LA To Tokyo"!! This is a joint work by BudaMunk, a beatmaker/producer renowned for his energetic activities in collaboration projects such as Sick Team, Green Butter, BudaMunk x Takumi Kaneko (cro-magnon) x mimismooth, as well as his solo work/production/beat provision, and his long-time ally Joe Styles, who has been active with BudaMunk for many years in the LA underground scene as Keentokers/Soul Jugglerz, under the name BudaStyles. Their new album "Soul Quest" is complete!! This album can be called a Soul x Jazz x Hip Hop album in the BudaStyles style, born from the fusion of BudaMunk and Joe Styles' long-standing respect for wonderful music such as 90s R&B, golden-era hip hop, neo-soul, and 70s soul and jazz, into their Boom Bap style hip hop. While the track production is mainly handled by BudaMunk and Joe Styles, the notable beatmaker ill Sugi also participates in a few tracks. Featuring a diverse range of vocalists/artists such as Botni Applebum, Medina, Alison Jones, Cora Scott, and DJ IQ, 15 exquisite tracks have been created, full of the timeless and unfading flavor of "soul music," the comfortable sound and groove of jazz, and the charm of authentic hip hop!!
