This is a lidded jar used 1-2 times. It's made by Hisamatsu Kiln in Tokoname. It was purchased over 40 years ago, so there are minor scratches and pinholes, but no major chips or stains. I thought the white jar with the tomato illustration was unusual and cute, so I kept it and couldn't bear to part with it. It's also recommended for making miso, pickled plums, and pickles. To avoid getting it dirty, I had placed the jar on aluminum foil. Therefore, some of the aluminum foil has stuck to the bottom of the jar.
