Hachioji Manhole Card Lot No. 010 The current design was adopted in 1987. It features the Hachioji Kuruma Ningyo, a nationally important intangible folk cultural property. Kuruma Ningyo is a local performing art that originated in the Tama region during the late Edo period. It is a unique one-person puppet show where a single puppeteer operates a puppet while sitting on a box-shaped cart with three wheels called a rokuro-guruma. The design depicts the dynamic dance of Sanbaso, one of the performances of the Kuruma Ningyo, with the hope for the future advancement of the sewer system. Please note that there may be minor scratches due to hand distribution. There are no folds or stains, but please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item as it has been stored at home.
