It is a soft light blue color called Asahanada, with a gold-leaf-applied depiction of Mount Fuji on the back, and a Japanese painting on a fan below it. The painting is in the traditional Japanese style, depicting a scene of a bridge over a river, a thatched-roof farmhouse quietly nestled in a pine forest.
