It's a slightly purplish navy blue, perhaps what's called eggplant navy. There are no visible stains on the front. The collar appears slightly white due to the light, but there are no noticeable streak stains, making it suitable for someone who enjoys tea ceremonies. It has a solid color with a pattern resembling a deer's fawn spots. The lining is very thin, and there are two places where it's been made. There is one spot of discoloration on the collar lining.
