This is a hand-spun yarn created for displaying French antique books, similar to the reference photo. It was made by incorporating tape with English print. It's wonderful for tying up Western books for display, using as an alternative to ribbon for gifts, or for collages and cartonnage. I believe you won't find this kind of antique-style, chic combination of hand-spun yarn anywhere else.
