They are bio-capsules (biodegradable plastic), and compared to regular plastic, they have a naturally dull color. I haven't counted the exact number, but it's a large quantity, several hundred. Please refer to the photos (the cardboard box is approximately 140 size). * I haven't done a detailed check or count to see if there are equal numbers of male and female capsules.
