This is a pendant with a square, orange stone set in it. The chain is black, creating a striking contrast with the orange stone. I liked the design and bought it over 40 years ago, wearing it a few times before storing it away in a drawer. There are no markings, so I can't be certain, but as there were few items made in China at the time, it's likely to be either made in Japan or the USA. It's well-made.
