As you use it, the oil will gradually be lost, so we recommend regular care with leather wax (SOK-06). Apply a thin, even coat over the entire surface, and once dry, wipe it thoroughly with a dry cloth. Test a small, inconspicuous area first, then apply to the entire surface and allow it to blend in. When you first start using the product, or when the oil has been depleted, using cordovan-specific cream (SOK-08) may cause unevenness and leave marks, so please refrain from using it. Oil cordovan is particularly vulnerable to sweat and water, and if it penetrates, it can cause blistering. Since it is difficult to repair blistering, please handle with extreme care. The interior leather (calf) can be cared for with leather wax (SOK-06) and leather care cream (SOK-14). *Be careful as rubbing the leather when it is wet with oil may cause stains. *Leather products and the dyes used are vulnerable to the alcohol content found in disinfectants, etc., and may cause discoloration if they come into contact with it.
