Casted classic dry flies #14 parachute and thorax dun. Last year, classic flies were consistently catching fish even around this time, but this time it was only a few here and there. The fish were looking at the surface, and there were ripples in some places, so I switched to a small micro caddis that mimicked the whitish caddis flying at the time, and got consecutive hits. After that, I had good luck with #20 small midge imitations, #20 midge parachute, #22 CDC midge pupa, and other midge flies. I managed to catch 25 fish, but the situation was different from my usual fishing spot.
