The leading cars of the Series 72 trains have shallow roofs, like the newly-built Kuha 79 type (79300-), while the intermediate cars have deep roofs, like the remodeled Series 63 type. The Series 72 leading cars come with three types of front-end parts: "vertical windows and roof-mounted headlights," "slanted windows and roof-mounted headlights," and "slanted windows and embedded headlights." If you want to build a roof-mounted headlight type, you need to cut out the roof. The door pocket windows are three-section windows. The Series 72 intermediate cars come with two types of roof parts: with and without pantographs. As service parts, two types of front-end parts for the remodeled Series 63 type, Kumoha 73 and Kuha 79, are included. The window parts of Kumoha 73 (leading car conversion and modernization conversion cars) can be used on the Series 72 leading cars (the reverse is not possible because it doesn't exist and the dimensions don't match). The front end of the Kumoha 73 leading car conversion car has only one type. Three-section windows and H-rubber door pocket window parts are included. Odd-numbered and even-numbered cars (front pantograph and rear pantograph) are represented by the direction of the roof parts. (Therefore, there are eight holes in the roof.) The Kumoha 73 modernization conversion car comes with two types of front-end parts: "with piping and destination indicator" and "without piping and destination indicator." The window parts are aluminum sash two-section windows. For use of the window parts on the Series 72 leading cars, a side-sill and header-equipped end-face part is also included.
