This item was purchased over 20 years ago from a thrift shop in Maryland, USA. It has a very unique design, with thin shoulder pads (which don't make the shoulders appear bulky) and a reversed front closure. Based on the fit, it's likely a men's size S, short length. It fit me perfectly at 168cm and 63kg. The mil-spec tag is faded and unreadable. It has a collar-securing chin strap, seen on 1930s-40s field jackets, and the chest pockets are decorative flaps only. Therefore, it's estimated that this item may have been a personal remake based on the M65.
