Ginori Rose Lini Set of 2 plates, 19cm Unused. These were purchased overseas. Compared to items purchased at department stores in Japan, the standards seem to be a bit more relaxed. You may see slight scratches and kiln marks, which are visible when held up to the light, as well as glaze pooling around the foot rim, and black dots the size of a pinhead. As shown in images 5 and 6, one plate has a small wedge-shaped indentation on the foot rim, but it is unclear whether this is a manufacturing defect or a chip. (Image 7 shows a Rosenthal plate recently purchased in Japan. I included it for reference, as it has a similar indentation.) These are all areas that do not affect use, but please refrain from purchasing if you desire a perfect condition. (The difference in color between the left and right is due to the lighting.)
