Please allow for slight errors due to amateur measurements. - The lining pattern is not the common red Fraser tartan (checkered pattern), but the traditional British yellow/brown gun club check used in a small number of G9s (similar lining is used in the cashmere wool G9). The umbrella yoke on the back, which mimics the structure of an umbrella's ribs and tip, and the dog ear collar that can be buttoned up are the original main details. The so-called Harrington jacket is derived from Rodney Harrington, a character in the 1960s TV drama "Peyton Place." * YKK zippers instead of OPTI zippers The country of origin is unknown as there is no marking, but it is believed to be a special order from Japan at the time, based on the size tag and the BARACUTA company name on the sewn-in part of the washing tag. - There is a BARACUTA mark and logo on the back of the tag, so it is not a poorly sewn Chinese/Hong Kong product (using Fraser red tartan lining) - Condition: Small moth-eaten holes on the hem rib.
