I purchased it about six months ago and used it without opening and closing it much. It's the type that attaches with Velcro, so you'll need to purchase that separately. It's quite heavy, so you'll need sturdy Velcro. However, the light-blocking, soundproofing, and heat-insulating effects are high and definitely noticeable.
