This is a nine-sun Nagoya obi made from Nishijin-ori, dyed silk fabric. The pattern is created from white fabric using ground dyeing and hand-drawing, making it a high-quality Nagoya obi that requires a lot of effort. Wild silk yarn called "kuri-mayu" is used as the weft in the fabric, and the thick and thin dark brown threads in various places throughout the fabric create a unique texture. The ground color, excluding the patterned areas, is a light blue. Recommended for komon (small patterned kimono) and everyday wear. This price includes the standard Nagoya obi tailoring (with the te-saki, or hand section, folded in half). The length is approximately 365 cm. Please allow approximately 1 to 1.5 weeks for tailoring. We also offer Matsuba tailoring and open tailoring for an additional ¥5000 and an additional week. Dyeing tailoring (lining the open tailoring) is an additional ¥7000. In addition, we also accept Pearl Tone processing (+¥6000) and guard processing (¥3000) for an additional fee.
