I purchased these new from Montbell in July 2023 for approximately 17,000 yen. The size is 28 cm. I've used them a total of 4 times for headwater fishing, wearing socks. Regarding the appearance, there is some wear and tear. There are stains that are difficult to remove (though I think they could be removed with some effort), and small tears, but I don't think they affect usability. The soles are worn, especially on the front part. The remaining sole life is about 6 or 7 out of 10 overall. Since they are expensive to buy new, I hope you will consider purchasing them for temporary use or for a year or two. Overall, there are no problems with their use. You could even have the soles replaced by Montbell. The size should be the same as your regular shoe size, but if you use sock waders, please consider going up about 1 cm in size.
