A hand-painted style wave pattern haori made of silk, with a beautiful contrast of blue and red. I bought it at a kimono shop in Tokyo. I really like it, but I don't have many opportunities to wear it, so I'm selling it. It's a very rare shibori (tie-dyeing) technique. The color scheme is simply beautiful. It's so mesmerizing just to look at, and it makes me a little sad to part with it. The fabric is pure silk, not thin, and has a thickness that's just right for winter. There are small spots that look like stains, like the black dots in the photo, but otherwise it's clean. This is a personal inspection, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection.
