Schott Double Riders 118 Cowhide Tag Size 38 - A very rare item. Based on the cowhide tag, the Schott N.Y.C. inscription, the octagonal buckle, the main zipper being an aluminum TALON zipper, the body zipper being a round-can chain zipper, and the unmarked fan-shaped sleeve zippers, it is estimated to be from around the mid-1970s. Made of cowhide, it is lighter, softer, and more supple than the steerhide 618 and 613. Perfect for town use. The thread on the butterfly bar area of the zipper tape was frayed and loose, so it has been repaired. See photo 16. The tape around the butterfly bar is damaged, making it difficult to insert, but there are no problems with raising and lowering the zipper if inserted correctly. There are no other particularly noticeable damages, but as it is a vintage item from the 70s, there are some minor scratches, scuffs, color unevenness, and fading, as well as loose threads, due to use. The condition is based on personal impression. Please refrain from purchasing if you do not understand vintage clothing or are looking for something in new condition. Size 38 - Fits like a Japanese size M, but the waist is tight. Feels like a 36 in 613 or 618.
