This is a small-sized rice bowl from the Hyoga (Glacier) series, featuring vibrant Turkish blue randomly interspersed. It's also very popular as a pair with the Tsuyukusa (Dayflower) series. "Shigaraki-yaki" is pottery made in Shigaraki, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture. It is one of the six ancient kilns of Japan and has a long history of 1260 years.
