This is a special dip net (tammo-ami) for catching glass eels (shirasu-unagi). It is made with 3mm stainless steel round bar hand-bent, stainless steel mesh (24 mesh, wire diameter 0.2mm), aluminum sleeves, and resin. Please attach this dip net to a sturdy handle and use it as a fishing tool for glass eels. The approximate size of the net is 18cm in length and width, with a depth of about 15cm, and the handle is about 22cm long. * The handle can be cut shorter if needed. This conical type was created at the request of fishermen fishing at harbor breakwaters. * All items are handmade, and each one is carefully crafted.
