Material: Cotton I made a tunic by persimmon dyeing a tenugui (Japanese hand towel). The tenugui went through the following process: Water wash → Dyeing → Sun drying → Dyeing → Sun drying → Washing → Drying → Ironing This process is quite time-consuming. The color will deepen with exposure to the sun. It's difficult to get an even exposure at home, so there may be some unevenness in the dyeing. The neckline is finished with bias tape. The size is as follows, measured flat: Width (at chest) ~ approx. 53cm Length (from shoulder to hem) ~ approx. 93cm Sleeve length (from neckline to cuff) ~ approx. 29cm Please allow for slight variations. I try to make each item carefully, but there may be areas I've overlooked. I select thread that is as close as possible to the original, so it may not be a perfect match. There may be instances where stitches are crooked and have been unpicked and resewn. There may also be overlooked stray threads. The item will be folded small for shipping.
