This is an original "Princess Kaguya Doll" from the Ghibli Museum. It was sold exclusively at the Ghibli Museum in a limited edition of only 40 pieces. It comes with a serial number (image processing applied). Manufactured by Matsuzaki Ningyo Co., Ltd., it is the work of Koichi Mitsu, a maker of May dolls. Each doll is handmade, a delicate and authentic Japanese doll that cannot be mass-produced. Please see the images below for details. - There is a slight stain on the top box of the outer box (third image from the end). - There is a small dot on the forehead (second image from the end). - There is a slight disarray in the back hair (last image). It seems that they will handle any stains or damage if you contact the workshop (please see the enclosed leaflet).
