Purchased from an industrial-style antique shop in Long Island, New York, which carries a lot of coffee mills. It's a very old, large wooden coffee mill. It's a Parker COFFEE MILL from Connecticut, dating back to the early 1900s. The last two photos are reference photos of antique coffee mills from 30 years ago, which are very similar. Originally, it seems a decorative paper was attached to the front. The iron is sturdy cast iron. The receiving tray is also old, made of wood and tin. The lid is missing or broken, and a metal jar lid of the same size is used. The size fits. You can put beans in from the top, and the coffee mill function remains. It seems to be difficult and quite expensive to find one with all the original parts in America. Of course, it's likely been used for many years, but I've never actually used it, so I don't know how precise the grinding is. The attractive large crank turns smoothly.
