The Black Rose is an octaver pedal from Rocktron's new "Boutique Series" lineup, producing a sound one octave below the original. This model allows separate output of the original sound and the effect sound, and also allows control over the octave sound's tracking and character. It features a heavy-duty metal case with laser-etched artwork depicting a rose. Controls include THORON, which controls the octave sound's strength and tracking in 12 steps, and FRAGRAMCE, which controls the TONE, and MERGE, which mixes the original sound and the effect sound.
