It features both magnetic and piezo pickups, which can be mixed. This allows for optimal sound output in any situation, such as recording or live performances. You'll feel the true essence of a double bass, not just a "thick-sounding fretless bass." The truss rod condition is loose, but operation of about 90 degrees has been confirmed.
