Purchased new from Rakuten five years ago, and used only two or three times, so it's relatively clean. There are no tears, and I think it's still usable. Both the top and bottom of the wear seem to have a size adjustment feature using strings that run through the inside, but I haven't tried it, so I'm not sure how effective it is.
