Found at a French flea market, this is a papier-mâché horse object. Circa 1900-1930s. It's a cute papier-mâché horse, mounted on an iron frame. It has a beautiful tail made of horsehair, and the mane is made of small sheepskin. The iron base has a lovely, weathered color. The saddle is made of felt, and the tack is made of a type of red oilskin. There are some chips and damage in several places. The lower part of the red belt fastener is detached. Because it is a very old item, it is being sold as a junk item. Personally, I really like the texture, and I think antique lovers will enjoy it.
