This item is a set of prize analog records that I won after sending in an application postcard included with the CD of U2's album "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb," by the Irish rock band U2, shortly after its release. I purchased the CD at Tower Records. Please refer to the second attached photo; you can see the text "Purchaser Application Lottery Benefit Promo Analog 2-Disc Set." I was a huge U2 fan at the time, so I was overjoyed when I won, and of course, I wanted to listen to these analog records. However, I didn't own a player, so I never had the chance to listen to them, and they've remained untouched until today. These are genuine, never-played items, and are a valuable vintage stock!! I certainly haven't forgotten about these analog records. Considering the band's career and legacy, I thought they would become a legacy to be passed on to future generations and would increase in value someday. I also wanted to somehow convey these valuable, unused items to enthusiastic U2 fans around the world, so I have carefully stored them until today. Belatedly, I learned about the Mercari system and decided to list them, thinking that someone who truly needs them would purchase them. I will sell them in the condition they were sent to me: cardboard box, winning flyer, plastic bag, and two vinyl records (of course, the record cases as well). I have never dropped a needle on the records, so I don't know about the sound quality. However, I have carefully stored them in a shaded indoor location in a brown cardboard box until today. There is no sun damage to the record jackets. *Regarding the tracklist, please enlarge the photos of the back of the jacket and confirm before making a purchase. Both records contain "VERTIGO" recorded on both sides, each with a different arrangement. *To avoid confusion with a full album, I have updated the item name to reflect the title on the front of the jacket. Thank you!
