These are ceramic fragments. This is an untouched heirloom piece from a sake brewery in Nara, but unfortunately, it was damaged during transport, so I am offering it as fragments of old Bizen ware. These are fragments of a large jar from the late Muromachi period, approximately 400 years ago. (Ni-shaku = approximately 360 liters of ceramic fragments) These fragments are a portion of the mouth of the large jar. The character for "Ni-shaku" (two measures) is present. Please appreciate these old ceramic fragments from about 400 years ago. There are small scratches and stains, but it is a beautiful item. How about using it in combination with Buddhist art, as an object, a flower vase, a tea ceremony utensil, or a sake vessel?
