The color is black, but it's not a harsh black; it's a soft shade of black, so it can be worn comfortably even in the summer. It has a relaxed fit, so I've listed it as free size. The material is 100% linen. I estimate I've worn it about 20 to 30 times. It shows signs of use, and because the fabric is soft, the buttonholes are a little loose.
