There may also be wobbling associated with this. After use, do not wash with water; wipe off dirt with a tightly wrung cloth. The wood grain will dry out over time. For maintenance, applying commercially available beeswax wax, walnut oil, or linseed oil (drying oil) will restore the luster. Please be aware that direct sunlight and excessive air conditioning can cause warping in natural wood.
