This is a "mai-sensu" (folding fan used in Japanese dance). It's quite old, but I've only used it once. It has a white and brick-colored "ぼかし" (gradation) with gold and silver mist patterns. It can be used for celebratory dances, male dances, and female dances. It's very elegant. It can be used for Japanese dance or as a wall decoration.
