The wooden lid absorbs the moisture from the rice, keeping it fluffy and delicious. The bento box is made of resin material, coated (urethane coating) and specially processed by skilled craftsmen, making it easy to remove rice grains when eating and easy to clean, with dirt sliding off easily when washing.
