Thank you for viewing. This is a鉢 (hachi - bowl) I purchased at an antique market. I liked the modern design and brought it home. The bowl has a rigid shape with a pattern reminiscent of Shoji Hamada. I strangely felt it had the impression of an old earthenware vessel. It's slightly larger than a small bowl. It seems good as a salad bowl when you want to eat a little extra vegetables. The rim is wide, so I think it will be easy to mix after adding dressing. It also seems to be convenient for Japanese dishes such as simmered dishes. There are no noticeable large scratches. Please check the images carefully for other details.
