This is a Vandoren B40 mouthpiece for clarinet. I purchased this mouthpiece, which was selected by a professional clarinetist, and used it in wind band and orchestra settings. I have a large stock of mouthpieces, so I'm selling some of them. This mouthpiece produces a sound with a heavy core that projects well to the back of the hall. It is characterized by its smooth breath support, excellent response, and mellow tone. There are some minor scratches, but they are barely noticeable and do not affect the sound. Please consider purchasing only if you are not concerned about these minor imperfections. The mouthpiece patch is still usable, so I have left it on and cleaned the mouthpiece. Thank you.
