This is a pair of Western-style sewing scissors from the Showa era. There is no box, so the details are unknown, but they were stored separately from everyday scissors, so they may have been used for something specific. The tips of the blades look like they have been sharpened, and they seem to cut very well. They are quite old, and there are some areas where the finish has peeled off a bit. I gently washed them with a mild, soft cleanser, as a novice would. (This isn't throughout the entire scissors, and not on the blades, so it doesn't affect the sharpness.) As you can see in the photos, they look beautiful, and the movement is smooth, and the cutting ability is very good. I think they are from a well-known scissor manufacturer, but there is no engraving or anything like that, just a number (see the last photo). I'm selling them at a low price, so please consider them if you're interested.
